Paintings for Animals was started in 2001 by Pearson Wallace-Hoyt to explore a music of chant, drone, glitch & the sound of the land. Work is self-released in limited addition CDr & tape with handmade artwork & packaging. Labels that have released or are to release Paintings’ work include Aphonia Records, Tavarn Keben, Electric Tapes & Moribund Tree Records.
